"Kundalini Power" : What is it actually??

Kundalini, a Sanskrit word meaning "circular power", is an individual's basic evolutionary force. Each of us is born with some of this energy already flowing. The amount available and usable determines whether a person has low intelligence, is a genius, or is somewhere in the middle.

It is a natural force common to all of us. It is not a religion, although it is practiced by some religions and the process can enhance and develop each person's own religious beliefs.

It is a sleeping dormant potential force in the human organism which is situated at the root of the spinal column.

In the masculine body it is in the perineum, between the urinary and excretory organs. In the female body its location is at the root of the uterus, in the cervix. This center is known as mooladhara chakra and it is actually a physical structure.

Now you know that everyone including you and me also has an inner drive to excel or be special at something-to be unique. Sometimes people reach for this in negative ways but in that path success is not permanent.

It is our birthright to evolve, develop, and become superpeople.

Can you believe?? Man does not utilize even ten percent of the powers given by god , granted to him by nature, during his life time. Even psychologists and medical experts agree to this fact that even a man working twenty hours a day may be utilising barely ten percent of God's gift to us. This obviously means that ninety percent capability of our mental faculties goes unutilised.

Therefore, we must explore ways and means to utilize this big store of energy and power.

We must unearth these powers and find answers so as to be able to put such energies to the benefit of ourselves and, therefore, the mankind.

Although this energy is said to reside in muladhara chakra, we are all at different stages of evolution, and in some of us it may have already reached swadhisthana,manipura or anahata chakra.

It is the creative energy; it is the energy of self-expression. Someone like Einstein used that same energy in a different, more subtle realm, to create a theory like relativity.

It is the same energy that is expressed when someone composes or plays beautiful music. It is the same energy which is expressed in all parts of life, whether it is building up a business, fulfilling the family duties or reaching whatever goal you aspire for. These are all expressions of the same creative energy.

The late Itzhak Bentov studied Kundalini from an engineering perspective. According to Bentov (1990), the 7.5 Hz oscillation of the heart muscle rhythm induces mechanical Hz frequencies in the brain, that in turn create a stimulus equivalent of a current loop.

The nerve endings in that loop correspond to the route through which the Kundalini "rises". This current polarizes the brain part through which it flows in a homogenous way, effectively releasing tremendous amounts of stress from the body.

The body then becomes an effective antenna for the 7.5 Hz frequency, which is one of the resonant frequencies of the ionosphere.

In layman's terms, you then pick up information from the air.

So you can see that this is not a myth, it is in accordance with modern science also, except the fact that it is still a much complex concept to be explained completely on the basis of science. Research on Kundalini is still in development phase.

Kundalini awakening is a must for self realization but LISTEN....it is not always the case that a person who has awakened this energy is enlightened. Nope...!! Kundalini awakening is just like a neccesary condition for Enlightenment but for complete self realization, a more high awareness and consciousness is required.

Sometimes, this energy awakens spontaneously in some persons and they remain unaware of this fact, due to which they do not take proper actions to control the flow of this energy. They think it as a illness or mental disorder.

People whose awakening has taken place without their knowledge, were generally considered crazy or physically weak; they may even have considered themselves crazy.I myself has encountered such cases.

In such cases, people have no idea what's happening to them, and, reacting with ignorance to symptoms of illness or insanity, worsen what already seems like an impossible situation.
