Kundalini is the force which is dormant in nature. In general,kundalini symptoms are not observed frequently as it does not wake up without serious efforts and without following proper path.

-excessive meditation,

-doing yoga continuously for long time

-or even due to good deeds which you have done in your lifetime,

Due to above reasons kundalini starts awakening and then, proper guidlines and instructions need to be followed in order to control this energy, else you may have to face serious problems.

Remember that in some cases, you may not find a clear reason that why kundalini is rising??

But that does not means that you should not take proper care for this psychosomatic arousal and excitation.

Kundalini symptoms are becoming more common in those seekers who use various mantras and Kriyas which operates in higher level of consciousness.

In such cases kundalini may spontaneously rise and get stuck in a chakra.

Many people experience Kundalini Syndrome without ever knowing it, especially practitioners of meditation.

 

Kundalini symptoms and kundalini syndrome

 


In today's world we are doing many things which contaminate our body in subtle sense and for proper flow of kundalini energy, our body should be pure at both physical and subtle level.

For the purification of body at physical level, Vedas has given six types of yogic kriyas which together are known as Shatkarmas.

Purification of subtle body is carried out by making your thoughts pure. This can be done with the help of properly guided meditation and yoga.

To make yourself pure and become eligible to hold kundalini energy, I have put together the various yogic methods in kundalini yoga section of this website.

Kundalini syndrome is a special combination of divine meditations and kundalini energy circulating throughout your body.

If it is done correctly, this yields a systematic cleansing and balancing of your aura, which removes your negative thought patterns and emotions.

Without freeing yourself of such negative thoughts, you cannot continue properly in the meditation.

For this reason, it is important to pay attention to this step in avoiding kundalini symptoms. Kundalini energy flowing in a person without cleansing is the reason for syndrome to develop.

The symptoms are not the same for every person, but often include over discomfort, eating, exhaustion, or hyperactivity.

The following are common manifestations of the risen Kundalini:

•Muscle twitches, cramps or spasms.

•Energy rushes or immense electricity circulating the body.

•Itching, vibrating, prickling, tingling, stinging or crawling sensations.

•Intense heat or cold.

•Involuntary bodily movements (occur more often during meditation, rest or sleep): jerking, tremors, shaking; feeling an inner force pushing one into postures or moving one's body in unusual ways.(May be misdiagnosed as epilepsy, restless legs syndrome (RLS).

•Alterations in eating and sleeping patterns.

•Episodes of extreme hyperactivity or, conversely, overwhelming fatigue.

•Intensified or diminished sexual desires.

•Headaches, pressures within the skull.

•Racing heartbeat, pains in the chest.

•Digestive system problems.

•Numbness or pain in the limbs (particularly the left foot and leg.

•Pains and blockages anywhere; often in the back and neck.

•Emotional outbursts; rapid mood shifts; seemingly unprovoked or excessive episodes of grief, fear, rage, depression.

•Spontaneous vocalizations (including laughing and weeping) -- are as unintentional and uncontrollable as hiccoughs.

•Hearing an inner sound or sounds, classically described as a flute, drum, waterfall, birds singing, bees buzzing but which may also sound like roaring, whooshing, or thunderous noises or like ringing in the ears.

•Mental confusion; difficulty concentrating.

•Altered states of consciousness: heightened awareness; spontaneous trance states; mystical experiences.

•Heat, strange activity, and/or blissful sensations in the head, particularly in the crown area.

•Ecstasy, bliss and intervals of tremendous joy, love, peace and compassion.

•Psychic experiences: extrasensory perception; out-of-body experiences; pastlife memories; astral travel; direct awareness of auras and chakras; contact with spirit guides through inner voices, dreams or visions; healing powers.

•Increased creativity: new interests in self-expression and spiritual communication through music, art, poetry, etc.

•Intensified understanding and sensitivity: insight into one's own essence; deeper understanding of spiritual truths; exquisite awareness of one's environment (including "vibes" from others)

•Enlightenment experiences: direct Knowing of a more expansive reality; transcendent awareness .






Many individuals whose Kundalini has been unexpectedly unleashed DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING, and the prevailing social ignorance about this multidimensional transformation process makes it hard to find medical or alternative health practitioners or spiritual advisers who recognize the symptoms, particularly when they are strongly physical.

NOW, HOW TO AVOID THESE KUNDALINI SYMPTOMS??

Now, as I told you earlier that cause for these type of problems is that our body is not pure enough to channelize this divine energy properly.

Therefore effective solution for this is to follow path of kundalini yoga under proper guidance.



But certain measures has to be taken quickly so as to avoid these symptoms.

When one starts experiencing Kundalini Symptoms, one should temporarily stop or reduce the meditation practices, and concentrate on purification of the energy bodies. Following a vegetarian diet will help in that.

One should contact a pranic healer or a spiritual guide who is master of kundalini.

Know what type of meditation and yoga maximize and minimize the risk of Kundalini Syndrome.

Learn how to practice kundalini meditations properly. This minimize yours chances of developing the syndrome from these exercises.

Many practitioners of meditation experience Kundalini symptoms without realizing it. They practice kundalini meditations over time, but in the absence of a clean energy it results in physical, emotional, and mental problems.

It is important to be aware of the the symptoms and dangers in their early stages so that you can identify them and adjust yourself accordingly.

If you start to see symptoms of Kundalini syndrome in yourself, stop temporarily or reduce your meditations until you can get rid of negative energy. Concentrate heavily on purifying your energy bodies.
